Born and raised in Portland Oregon, Emri enjoyed soaking up all the industrial and playful influences the city had to offer. While attending the Aveda Institute of Portland, her love affair of the beauty industry began. After graduating and obtaining her license, she immersed herself in a salon apprenticeship program. There she was able to expand her knowledge and technical abilities through one on one advanced training and education. Taking extensive color courses, she fell in love with blonding, balayage, and lived in color. She also grew to encompass a more organic cutting method, working with each individuals hair texture and style. While continuing to learn and focus on education behind the chair, she strives to create an inclusive, attentive and relaxing experience to everyone who sits in her chair.
